I Confess...
It took me 2 months to finally put together my Ikea art table I went out and purchased, but when I finally did I found out that the top I purchased did not fit! My beech adjustable table legs did not go with the Pine top I bought. So finally last night Josh and I went back and switched it out for the larger size Pine table-top. It smells and looks lovely-but it's HUGE! Now I have to revamp my idea of where this table is going... lol

I also needed a chair for my desk, but instead of buying a chair I bought a cute little teal stool for only $5.99. It's so cute. I also picked up an inexpensive work lamp that clamps to the sides of my desk so I'll have light. I cannot tell you how excited I am to start creating again! I miss it!

Rocky came over Tuesday night after Karate. I had to stay up super late (I usually go to bed at 9:30pm on work nights, but he came over around 11pm and stayed until 2pm) but it was worth it to get to spend time with him. We just ate some food, played with Tess (my snake), and then cuddled and watched Doctor Who. He's so cute.

I was super impressed when he wanted to fit me in for more time on Wednesday even though he worked, so I grabbed some takeout and we ate a quick dinner together while he got ready for work. Missy (one of his adorable pups) kept trying to steal our sandwiches off the counter! Good thing she's cute.
I took the 5 Love Languages test in my high school Psychology class and received Words of Affirmation, so I was curious to see what I'd get now that I've actually been through several relationships. It came back with Quality Time (that's why him fitting me in for a quick dinner means so much!) and Words of Affirmation a close second. I need to read the book now, but I tend to agree with the results.

I got my first Julep Maven box, and my special order with it and I LOVE these colors. So extremely pretty. If you want to sign up you can use the code FreeBox to get the first box free! (just $3.99 s/h) which is what I did. I think for all the product shown here I paid a whopping $14 bucks with the remover and quick dry drops I added on. It's so awesome.

Sweet Aubrey sent me a surprise in the mail. It was a book done by The Brave Girls Club called A Little Bird Told Me: 30 Days of Beautiful Words and Beautiful Art for Your Beautiful Soul
and it's full of letters. It's somewhat of an Oracle book, and amazingly the first page I flipped to and read had words I needed to hear. It's such a pretty little book too, I love it! Thanks Aubrey!
