Thursday night I came home from work to find two packages. The first one was my order from Painting Bliss. Look how amazing these hand-painted sugar skull plushies are. I love them. She is extremely talented-and sweet! She even offered to donate to the Howl-O-Ween event for my rescue! Look how beautiful they are:
I also received a surprise package from Beth! She is soooo sweet, and I did not see that coming. Lots of cute stuff, but my favorite is the Doctor Who necklace! Ten is my favorite!
Friday night and Saturday morning we cleaned-and the house has never looked so good. I love it! Saturday night we had our end of summer party, and it was so much fun! Of course I didn't think to take pictures (blah!) except for this cute one of sleepy Thor. He was so ready to go home here.
Sunday we watched the Doctor Who premier, and it was AMAZING! I loved it! I even love the new companion who they introduced to us early. I was reluctant to, because I know that means Amy and Rory are leaving and I love them-but she's adorable.

Sunday night we went and saw The Amazing Spider-Man. I hadn't really thought I'd want to see it, since I didn't really care for any of the other Spider Man movies that much, but the movie we had gone to see was sold out. I'm glad it was. It was really good, and I'd recommend you go see it! Gwen Stacey is so much more interesting that Mary Jane, and I love Emma Stone.

Last night the roommate and I went for a vegetarian dinner at House of Tibet, and it was amazing! Seriously, sweet cheese momos and soy chai from there are my new favorite things ever!

How was your weekend?
I actually watched Doctor Who for the very first time over the weekend! I liked it, considering I follow so many blogs who love it and I really had no idea whatt it would be like. I can tell you this: daleks are creeepy!

ReplyDeleteI like the soon-to-be-new companion, too....she's got that cute geek genius thing going, and if they manage to stay away from romantic subplot for a change, I'll enjoy watching her and Matt Smith ping off one another. Especially since she's not from present-day Earth! Finally. Yay! :D
