Bingo, BBQs, & Lemonade Stands

First, I need to wish a HUGE congratulations to one of my oldest and dearest friends Miss Melanie Grace today! Sunday night she got married to her fiance husband Travis in Savannah.

I was sadly unable to go to the event, but sweet Celia Jean took a picture and tagged me in it on Facebook saying "This pix is for our Angie, because I know she is dying to be here. We love you!" and I was so touched! I felt like crying because I am so sad I missed it, but I am so beyond happy that she has found someone that loves her as much as she has always deserved. Just look at how happy she looks in this photo!

Congratulations to my witchy-sister!
I am hoping for a lifetime of happiness and many beautiful blonde babies for you both!

As for my weekend, Friday night was Gay Bingo for August.
I got my first party foul and ended up wearing the wig of shame.
I was drunk enough that I wasn't too embarrassed to dance around and collect donations.
Atheist David came and hung out too, he just put his on for fun.

The roommate and I both donated baskets as prizes, as the sponsor for the month flaked.

Mine (left) was themed "A Night Alone" and included 50 Shades of Gray, and two other cheesy Harlequin novels (one was titled "Puppy Love in Thunder Canyon" HA! So bad.), a box of wine, one wine glass, candles, bubble bath, a dong sucker, bath salts, a bath scrubby, and adult novelty items... You know, the things you'd need while reading dirty novels alone in the bath tub.

The roommates basket was beach themed.  Margarita mix, tequila, beach ball, glasses, shot glasses, wax (for that bikini line) and a few other things...

Saturday I spent most of the day just kind of hanging out at home watching the Vampire Diaries.  That show is so cheesy, but entertaining.  I think Stefan looks like a Muppet, but Damen is cute if he isn't doing the crazy twitchy eyes he does...

Saturday evening I went up to Kristina's to spend the night.  We played dominion and hung out with some friends.  Sunday morning before I left to head home Kailee wanted to do a Lemonade Stand.  So we helped them get all set up and I had to buy a glass before leaving.  Seeing her so excited makes me really happy.  So do these pictures:

And Kristi is SO pregnant.  Less than a month to go now, the C section is scheduled.
Little miss Katya will be joining us on September 4th, around 9am!
I can't wait to hold that little bit of happy.
Even if I am afraid of dropping her.

Saturday afternoon I made it home to find the roommate and Julie hanging out.
We then went to brunch before I had to hurry home and get ready.
It was my grandmother's 70th birthday on Sunday and we had a BBQ.

Happy birthday grandma!

Last thanksgiving.  She doesn't like pictures!
My family was all there, and my Uncle Todd's family too!

Left: The family eating and laughing-Right: My Uncle Todd has swagger

The puppies were even in attendance.

Left: Tanner, my family's dog-Right: Jekora my cousin's Husky puppy

And Ali (my family's other dog-Tanner's sister) with her bad haircut!

All in all it was a pretty great weekend.  I even decided to paint my nails again.

I totally suck at it.

How was your weekend?
