Bingo, Pets, and Books!

I had a great weekend again.  Friday night was Bingo with the Utah Cyber Sluts in support of Cause for Paws Utah (the rescue I volunteer for) and it could not have been more fun! Plus we got to sit with CFPU as part of the elite! It was fun!

Shawn and Justin tagged along.  They were scared of the scary bingo rules.

I got to walk Keyni around during the break at Bingo, and lots of people thought he was just the cutest.  Why hasn't he found a home yet?  I have no idea!

Then Josh and Julie went out to the bars, and I went home to meet Brian and Pookie back at my place for more drinking! It was fun!

Brian was quite drunk at this point.  Julie was sobering up.

Saturday Josh and I ran some fun errands and the bunny decided it was ok to come upstairs to say hi to the camera and get treats.

Then I went to spend the night at Kristina's.  Saturday morning I made waffles and the kiddos loved it!

Their mamma wanted to give them a Mother's Day treat too.  So they got giant jawbreaker suckers.  Just look at this kid!

Then we had a nice BBQ and sat by the camp fire outside while we ate it.  Followed by ice cream.

Then last night I went over to my grandma's to have dinner with her and bring my kitty more food. I couldn't resist but get her a little mouse with catnip in it either.  She LOVED it! She was playing with it a lot.

I'm happy for all of my awesome friends, my honorary nieces and nephews, and these little furry faces that bring such light into my life! :)

Other things I'm happy for:

• I fixed my suede moccasins after I stepped in giant puddles with them.
• I started reading Dead Reckoning last night.  This is only my second book for May, so I'd better get cracking!

I had to put them all in order to take the picture. lol

• I got my very own causeforpawsutah.org email now! I'm officially one of the crew!
• Friday night I get to see a real Burlesque show, and all the proceeds go to support CFPU!
• I'm writing kick-A emails for the email subscription list for CFPU.  You should subscribe by email, we give away awesome prizes to random subscribers!
• Lots of goodies were donated to the auction to help Charlie, including a few things from my Etsy shop.  You should go Bid on them and help a great cause too!
• I'm going to Orientation tonight so that I can volunteer at the adoption center in Trolley Square every wednesday night.  So awesome.
