Confessions & A Friday Laugh

I Confess that by the time Friday rolls around, I just don't have the energy (or desire) to deal with extremely dumb and/or rude customers.  Seriously people, I will try my best to help you but you have to be willing to work with me and clarify what you say.  You can't just say "It not work, fix it." and expect me to know exactly what is going on.

I Confess that I'm soooo glad it's Friday.  I was sick Monday and have been working 10 hour days to make up for that so I didn't have to use more sick time-and I'm DONE! D-O-N-E DONE!

I Confess that if you buy a bunny or a chick to take home for Easter, just because it's cute and you think it's a toy-you're an asshole.  These are little living creatures looking to be loved, and they do not deserve to end up abandoned in a shelter somewhere because you were irresponsible and dumb.  Bunnies can live for 7-10 years and require care like any other pet or child.  IF you're willing to commit to that, go ahead and get one (the roommate has a bunny, and I LOVE him! He's a great pet.) but if you just want a play thing, stick to chocolate and stuffed animals. Read more HERE.

I Confess that this next bit, is going to be TMI, so skip it if you're grossed out by womanly functions, but I am SO done with my period.  It's been weird... I spotted for a week and a half, and then started bleeding extremely heavily and it has not stopped... It's been like 9 or 10 days now of soaking through if I go longer than 2 hours, and I've gone through two boxes of tampons... It's miserable.  However I didn't have any cramping until today, so that has been a bonus.  If it keeps going, I'll go to the emergency room, but I'm hoping this is just a weird hormonal fluke that will ease up in the next day or two.  And no, I was not pregnant.  You actually have to have sex to be pregnant.  Just FYI! LOL

I Confess that some of my coworkers totally annoy me.  The guy on the other side of the cubicle is constantly on personal calls, and they're often rather personal... I don't know that his family members would really want me to know about their doctor visits and drama... Also, two coworkers on that side over there clip their toenails at work. That is DISGUSTING and belongs at home in the bathroom-STOP IT!

I Confess that I love hearing good articles about Pitties.  They get such a bad rap and people forget that there are WAY more stories about human beings flipping out and hurting people than there are dogs, and it really is (99.9% of the time) the owner to blame when something like that happens. Either due to mistreating the dog or lack of training.  However, in this case-the dog saved it's owners from a crazed gunman, took a bullet in the head and survived! That's amazing.  The vet even put a super hero logo on his bandage.

I Confess that the block feature on Facebook is my favorite.  It's like people you hate no longer exist at all... It's kind of a beautiful thing! :)

I Confess that I actually started a Tumblr too... So now I have this blog, my Health Not to Health Nut blog, the Cause for Paws Utah blog I manage as volunteer work, and my Tumblr.  Too much? Nah.  I'm a blogging addict.  Have a Tumblr and want to follow me: Inspirational Chaos.  I'm not sure I'm using it right, but I'll learn.

What do you have to confess this week?

  1. Yikes! That sounds like a call to the gyn was in order! I confess to giving unsolicited medical advice...

  2. I think you should get that checked out. Unless you normally have really weird periods, I'd be concerned.

  3. Amen about the rabbits! So sad how stupid people are!

And my dog is half pit and it breaks my heart to hear stories of their mistreatment and listen to people ramble on about how bad they are. SO NOT TRUE! They are great dogs. I saw somewhere that they used to be like babysitters because they are so good with kids. I should check into that.

    Happy weekend!

  4. I totally agree about the bunnies. I had one once-- I was depressed and thought a cute bunny would cheer me up. Yeah, they're cute, but they take work!
